Groundworker

DCT Recruitment Ltd are looking for temporary ground workers to work on a housing project in Stockport for 3 weeks and then move to another one in Oldham for same client.

Responsibilities:

Site clearance and setting out (establishing exact locations for installations).
Digging trenches, excavating sites, and performing confined space entries to lay the foundations.
Installing drainage systems and ensuring water or sewer connectivity.
Concreting and laying sub-surfaces, preparing them for secure installations of roads or pathways.
Operating and maintaining tools and equipment such as pneumatic drills, cement mixers, compacters, and their safety checks.
Complying with safety regulations and ensuring that all practices adhere to necessary legal guidelines.

Qualifications Required

Must have CSCS card and ground working NVQ level 2

Rate of Pay

£19.00 per hour
